Pumping success :-D

I have nearly reaching 3 months of exclusively expressing. except for a few bottles in neonatal due to getting supply up. Esmae has near enough been fed by my supply.
Due to my diabetes last time I gave up after 1 day because of a hypo. This time I have battled through them and I am determined to reach 6 months then 7.
I go back to work In january so hoping I am still doing it by then even if its just to keep stock up. Our small freezer currently has 2 drawers full of frozen milk. I currently try and give esmae fresh milk daily. I normally use frozen if I'm staying in so i don't have lots of old dates in freezer.
Its hard work especially with a toddler to. Im currently only pumping 5 times a day as caleb was having major tantrums and I was feeling I couldn't do anything in the day. I try and plan things around it so I dont mess supply up. Most of the time my pump goes with me and I just go off for 20 mins at my parents or close friends. I have even done it in town its that important. Plus going long stretches really hurts my chest.
There have been moments when i just want give up but I haven't stopped yet and I'm not planning it either :-)
So heres my good and bad points.
Good-

  1. Esmae is getting the best start.
  2. Its also has health benefits for me.
  3. saves money on formula.
  4. other half can do bottle feeds to.
  5. I actually enjoy it knowing I'm helping esmae.
  6. Im not letting diabetes rule me on this .
  7. I dont have to mess about with formula and making it up.

Bad.

  1. Can be time consuming but its worth it.
  2. Makes me hungry and i eat lots.
  3. sometimes feel bad caleb not getting all the attention.
I do really feel proud of myself and hope it continues.

please feel free to ask me anything. I'm not an expert but would love to help :-)
