Another 6 weeks on and just over half way :-)

Sorry for the delay in posts I really need to do weekly updates. I'm hoping there might be other diabetics checking to see for any updates or Info on diabetes and pregnacy.
I had my average blood test 4 weeks ago and I'm quite pleased with the results. Last check was 9.9% and my recent one was 7.8%. It goes to show with a little determination I can do it and I do believe pregnacy has some magic with getting my sugars right.
Yesterday was my 20 week anomaly scan and all went well. I was scared to find that baby was growing big or there was extra fluids as movements have been odd. With a sigh of relief baby is actually a small baby only on the 9th centile line and currently estimates at 9oz :-)
Here's a picture of baby watts and we are expecting a baby boy :-)
I am over the moon with expecting a boy. I love having a girl but wow esmae is demanding and a screamer . Caleb was a happy and relaxed baby so I'm hoping this is the same for baby watts.
I'm still having monthly eye tests which the diabetic consultant told me even the my sugars are good a quick drop can put pressure on my eyes. You can never win as a diabetic. I'm just happy all is going well and baby is currently small and not big.
I know there is a few weeks for this to change but I'm going to try my hardest to get it right .
My target at e moment is to get to 37 weeks. Blood pressure seems to be holding ok and I have only had one trace of protein yesterday.
Back to antenatal in 4 weeks for scan and review .
