Fun with friends x

This afternoon we made the most of the sunny weather. Caleb was dressed for the occasion. We met some friends over the local playing fields. Caleb enjoyed having a good run about and will be probably be having an early night.
It makes a change when the sun is out and we can get out of flat for a few hours. Lets hope it continues xx

Weigh in-week 1 day 7

I am pleased to announce i have lost 4 lbs. I was 11st 7 and now the scales say-

I am happy. I didn't stick to weight watchers religiously and have tried my hardest to have a routine with expressing. When i feel a bit confident maybe i will update photo progress.
To help tone down my jelly belly and other extra bits I have now purchased, zumba rush :-D

I did 45 mins yesterday and I was knackered. Didn't want to over do it as its only been 9 weeks since my c-section.
Anyway better go , will update my progress xx

Sewing a snuggler.

Esmae is such a wriggler so I decided to attempt a snuggled. I have had a look on net and found their fab tutorial . Heres the link, take a look.
I tend to buy my fabric from quilt covers as I can make so much more out of it and the value of cost is crazy. So I decided a union jack quilt. I have made a couple of changes and its not perfect but I'm proud.
The changes are,

1. Longer front pocket but isn't sewed at end so as esmae is growing it will grow with her until she needs it.
2. Attached ribbon to arm so i can tie it around as I can never get the velcro in right bit.
3. swapped fleece for a cot sheet, just so esmae doesn't get to hot.

waste of a day , waste of money.

So today was full appointments and the weather was terrible.
The diabetic one was in and out of the surgery. Looks like the system decided I needed to be there but they can't do anything for me there. so a waste of a walk there then had to get the taxi back as the rain was stupid.
By the Time I got back It was time to go out again for esmae's appointment. Another taxi as we would all get soaked. Clinic was packed and expecting to be there ages. About 40 mins had past and we got called in. All is well, got given the gaviscon and may have to go back for a blocked tear duct. The annoying thing was we got discharged. Reason being we had appointment because she was early and up until she is 1, height and weight gets corrected by a month. Dr didn't even look and says because she is fine and was term there was no reason to see her again yet she is only classed as 4 weeks grrr. Yet another taxi home.
I had already cancelled jabs as the rain was unpredictable and just my luck it had brightened up. I am hoping we only have to wait a week or so for next appointment.
So all in all today was wasted time as both times the systems or dr messed up, then because of rain we had to catch taxis, hence, waste of a day and waste of money.

To make things better we did get a few smiles which make it all better xx

A busy day full of appointments.

Today is full of appointments , only 3 but its enough.
First is me diabetic one at dr.'s and to be honest i don't think I will have the best results. My sugars have been rubbish and its no excuse but I never seem to have to the time to sit down and sort it. The thing I hate the most is hypos and that us my main reason for poor control as I would hate to have one alone around the kids I wish I could get over this fear.
Second appointment is Esmae's at the hospital for consultant appointment to make sure there is no concerns from being born early. Other than her sickness there isn't anything that is worrying us.
Thirdly Is injection time for Esmae which I'm not looking forward to. As she would of been weighed and checked over at hospital I should be in and out hopefully.

Luckily my dad was around.

So before i left the train station i decided to check for ramp access as i needed to get to the other side on return journey.
Unfortunately there wasn't but my dad was around so helped carry esmae and pushchair. Other than the tired tantrums we had a good day . :-D

1st train journey with 2.

This was my first train journey with the 2. I took the double pushchair but only had esmae on it an carried caleb in the ergo. I find I have better control with him in the ergo and he cant escape. We got to the station in plenty of time and got on train fine. It only took us 15 mins on the train. Caleb loved it and was busy chatting away. only trouble is the return journey and is on opposite side. Why the problem?? There is no lift or ramp access so looks like my dad will have to help us get over . If there was only a few steps i would easily bump it up but there is about 20:-(.

Day 2 of diet !

Yesterday went well and kept within my points even with a few biscuits to mmm. But a hypo in the morning probably wasn't the best for my points allowance as I had a boost plus toast. At least I have my weekly points to keep me ok.
Todays breakfast was wheatabix plus banana. I should also earn a few exercise points as I'm planning on going out so will be walking to.

Day 1 of diet!!

So i am just over 8 weeks from having c-section. I have managed to loose all my pregnant weight plus a bit more but need a little help. Im expressing so that has helped but a have come to a stand still and need to watch what i eat now to get to my health weight.
Im planning on doing ww's from home as i got on well with it before. Monday is weigh in day so we have started at 11st 7. According to what i have read you get 14 points extra for breast feeding but as im not doing it religiously i will have less points and tweak if i dont think its working. Plan is 35 points a week plus the 49 weekly points. Wish me luck. Have a wedding in august so maybe i can loose a few pounds for that xx

esmae's new dress

So i have been looking at a link and i really loved the dress.so i finally got round to making it.

I have also done a matching head band to. I needed a dress for my friends wedding so if it look ok on I will use it xx

To do list for a friends new baby x

So I have been trying to do a little bit of sewing and now need to create a list.
Baby tights,
headbands,
Bibs and some reusable breast pads.
Baby blanket.
Heres what I want to create and plan on attaching the links to where I found them.
My friend is expecting and I want to create a box with some handmade stuff in , Im thinking some bandana bibs, few headbands, some tights, few muslin squares and breast pads. I will also add stuff like toiletries and nappies to then make the box all pretty.

Baby plus sick.

Esmae hasn't been too good with her bottle recently so we took a trip up to a & e. Luckily ours runs a gp service now so I didn't feel as bad going up there. All observations were ok and wasn't even bothered with having her blood sugar checked.

Turns out all its reflux and we need to get a prescription for baby gaviscon. So thats another trip to the drs tomorrow lets hope we are in and out.

Hi, I wanted to create a blog for all my random ramblings. Including me, diabetes, the kids and life in general.

Not sure where to start but heres a bit about me.

Im 26, 27 tomorrow and a proud mommy to 2 beautiful kids. A toddler with tantrums and a baby girl who has made our family complete. Ive been with my partner for nearly 5 years and we have a flat together but I am desperate to get a house.

I seem to have a weekly cycle of things I want to do and Other half laughs about it now. Its a mix of wanting a house, getting married and going on holiday. 

Im a diabetic and have been since 13 and wish I didn't have it. Im a pretty erratic diabetic and my hypos  are the thing I hate the most. Im on a insulin and wouldn't be without it.

So eventually I will create different areas on here with all the different topics I want to write about.

Hopefully I will get a few followers who will be happy to read my blog and share the page.
